About teaching

I love teaching. I started teaching the transverse flute when I was 17, I was barely older than my students! I love to meet people through music, to help them out to improve, to make them discover new pieces and most of all, to play and enjoy music together. I would call myself dedicated and patient.

I’m teaching what I’m practicing and I’m practicing what I’m teaching. I learn from my students, from their questions and difficulties, and I try to give them a valuable answer, to help them to go further on their musical path.

I give shakuhachi lessons and workshops in The Netherlands. I also give Skype or Zoom-lessons.
