Hélène Seiyu 聖 優 Codjo is a shakuhachi teacher and performer living in The Netherlands.

She started her shakuhachi study with Daniel Seisoku Lifermann in Paris (La Voie du Bambou) and has been studying with Fukuda Teruhisa, founder of the ensemble and school Hijiri-Kai since 2006.

In January 2013, she received the Jun Shihan license with the name Seiyu 聖 優 (Holy kindness) from Fukuda Teruhisa, followed by the Shihan license (master) in 2015 and the Dai Shihan license in 2023 in Tokyo (Japan).

In 2021 she created a Virtual Shakuhachi Dojo on Patreon.
