Philippe Caussade studied the shakuhachi with Daniel Lifermann in the French association “La Voie du Bambou” and with Fukuda Teruhisa.
In April 2019 (令和元年 : first year of ReiWa era), he was awarded from Fukuda Teruhisa with the Shihan license and the name of Seiin (聖韻 : sacred sound).
